Paying Fees & Making Purchases
All in‑person payments must be made during the student’s lunch period and must be paid with CASH or MONEY ORDER ONLY.
Student Fees
The annual Student Fee is $250
This fee helps cover:
Classroom materials
Textbooks and novel wear‑and‑tear
Wear and tear on CPS 1:1 Chromebooks
Class field trips
Classroom technology
Yearbook
School events and more
Senior Fees
In addition to the $250 annual fee, graduating seniors pay a Graduation Fee of $125. This fee covers the venue, diploma and diploma cover, 4 graduation tickets and the year-end Senior Lunch.
Not included in the Graduation Fee: Cap & gown, Prom, Grad Night, and additional graduation tickets. These must be purchased separately.

Students may also pay in person with cash or money order during their lunch period in Room 110

Student CTA/Ventra Cards
Students may purchase a new or replacement Ventra card in Room 110 for $5 cash during their lunch period. A Student ID is required at the time of purchase.

Student IDs
Students must wear their Student ID visibly around their neck at all times while in school.
- The first ID is free (included with student fees).
- If a student forgets their ID, they must get a Temporary ID at One North or in Room 110 for $1, which will be charged to their student account.
- After four Temporary IDs, the student must purchase a new permanent ID for $5 in Room 110.
Event Sales
Tickets for school events—such as dances, sports games, concerts, and more—can be purchased with cash during the student’s lunch period in Room 110, as long as the student is eligible at the time of purchase.
